Meander
Flowing, the fresh water
Falls from the snow and ice
And follows the rocks memories
Of where it seems to have
Been before – a molecule
Has deja-vu…
Stronger here,
The path leads stronger
Slowly eroding…
The water meets more of it’s kind,
Carrying debris broken free,
Strong in motion
Resistance slows us,
We loose momentum
Debris falls
Like an old knapsack
And we come to notice
Suddenly
There is much
To do, so much less time
And we move on…
Lazy water travels slow
And has a game eye to the future
From side to side we wander
Stopping briefly here, there
Knowing we will find more of us
At the end, we will not be alone
Faith can be so fickle without it…
